Will be making these again and again. Love these. They’re moist and fluffy and so super easy to make. These look Amazing!! As I was reading through the comments I noticed that tons of people seem to have an issue with the muffins sinking once they pull them out of the oven. Pinning these!
I used mini chocolate chips and they were perfect. Divide batter evenly into muffin tin, sprinkle each muffin with a few more chocolate chips and bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean or with just a few crumbs attached. Set aside for 5 minutes to thicken. Perfect snack. I did use one up whole wheat and half cup white. So very moist and delicious. This looks sooo good! Yes absolutely! Also, I recommend spraying the paper liners with cooking spray to help them come out easily! One of my favorite recipes! These are very good. So glad the family enjoyed these! No need to spray and they don’t stick! This is the key to insuring that the muffins stay moist.

Just use a jumbo muffin tin and bake for longer. These are amazeballs! These look delicious! Easy, healthy and delicious . I used 1/2 cup spelt flour with 1 cup chapati or Indian whole wheat flour and added some walnuts too. These two reasons alone made me avoid whole wheat baked goods for years. I’ll be using them for a brunch soon! These are great, I made them with spelt flour instead and the muffins turned out pretty delicious. Applesauce has a lot more water then bananas, so I’m not sure it would turn out the same. But greasing the muffin pan with oil or cooking spray will work too. Cooking time was perfect. i am making it for my school fce project and i used soy milk instead of almond milk would that work ? Back to Healthy Banana Chocolate Chip Oat Muffins. These are simply the best! One question I do have is this: do you think this would work if you switched the banana out for thick homemade unsweetened applesauce? I also added walnuts for a satisfying crunch I just found you and am so pleased with your recipes. I haven’t tried adjusting these for almond flour, but I have used white whole wheat flour and it worked beautifully. I love baking with bruised bananas and have so many muffin recipes but this might become my go to recipe now cause they are delicious and don’t have much sugar either which I love! Didn’t have the pastry flour so used 1c whole wheat and 1/2c all purpose white

I made those and my muffins came out really dense and sort of doughy, not like regular muffin texture, is this how they are supposed to turn out or did I do something wrong? I do not prefer apple sauce as it makes muffins sticky, so I used a 1/2 cup of vegetable oil instead. Such a good idea!! The chocolate chips send them over the top. Is that the same? Plus, any recipe that allows us to eat chocolate for breakfast and feel great about it I consider a delicious victory! Any tips? I just tried this recipe and it was delicious, but once it cooled it shrunk immediately and shrivelled up. I am a professional baker and from a lot of experience I can tell you that you just need to let them cook longer! So so good. Line muffin pan with muffin liners and set aside.
Love the idea of mini muffins glad you love them! Glad they were delicious regardless! If I’m making mini-muffins- how long should I cook them for? I’ve taken them out now and the top part is cooked as its gone quite golden, but the bottom half is still gooey? I made these with all purpose brown rice flour, and instead of 1/2 yogurt I used coconut oil and the batter still turned out super thick so I added some half/half cream to make it the right consistancy. It makes the muffins ultra tender without the need for adding extra fat. Your daily values may be higher or lower depending on your calorie needs. I use vanilla yoghurt.
They came out great and weren’t dry at all. Not sure if it was because I didn’t have any whole wheat flour and used all-purpose instead but the muffin tin liners stuck to the muffins and I don’t really taste the bananas. My oven runs hot, so it only took 15 minutes to bake a dozen completely. I would use brown sugar if that is available to you. So happy you (and the girls) love these!
