When we showed our original confirmation with price tag on it the receptionist with basically told us that this is the way it is in Quebec and they do not show the full price as the taxes are not yet known at the time of booking! We loved it & hope to return very soon!!!!! The room price was not bad based on Quebec standards, underground parking across the street was 17.50 CAD and although the hotel provided breakfast it was not free. The room was clean with fairly new furniture. Experience an enchanting and romantic ambiance at any of these historic hotels.
However it is possible to order an empty small fridge at the cost of 15$ for the whole stay. Room had two large beds plenty of room, bath tub was a little old fashioned. The lobby is nice but smaller than it appears in pictures since more than half is the restaurant/bar and separated by glass. It was perfectly located for exploring old Quebec. The check in starts at 5 PM due the Covid measures for cleaning and the checkout is at 11 AM. These historic hotels are world renowned for their capacity to host memorable affairs. If you are looking for a bigger room and maybe a sitting area, we definitely recommend our Executive Queen rooms, which are including a salon area. We got the top floor rooms which are newer and I think bigger.
